Fun with Family

John, Annelise, Joel, Melissa, and Alex have been here and we have been very busy. We all went to Disneyland. Jacob went on his first ride. I think he has mixed feelings about It's a Small World. Then we went to Legoland. Jiana and Alex had a blast going on all the rides.

June Fun

Jiana had her first try at fishing at the Fishing Derby in Lake Elsinore. Max spent Father's Day playing with Jiana at Boomers (her first time golfing). We went to the San Diego County Fair and had so much fun the kids were fast asleep. Jiana loves going to see stage shows. My friend Katie gave us free tickets to go see Sesame Street Live Elmo's Green Thumb. I believeJiana and Jacob loved it. Jacob is 1 month old in the last picture. I'm going to finally do birth announcements so I took these pictures in their Little Brother, Big Sister shirts.

Jacob Anthony

Jacob Anthony was born at 1:13 pm on May 26. He weighed 8 lbs 11 oz and was 21 inches long. He was only 2 oz smaller than his big sister Jiana. She is loving being a big sister so far. Let's hope it stays that way. Here are some pictures of our new addition.

Hokey Pokey Recital

Jiana had her first ballet recital today. She did an awesome job! The video isn't great, she's the one in the front in black and pink. Enjoy!

Easter

Jiana had the best Easter. The Easter Bunny remembered to bring her a big girl bike. It was hidden behind the BBQ so she thought she forgot to wish for it. After Easter breakfast with family we went to the Padres game where they actually won.

Whirlwind day at Legoland

Jiana and I spent yesterday at Legoland. 7 hours of long lines and fun rides. Jiana had a blast. She is great standing in lines for a long time. Here are some pictures from our day and also check out the video of her driving. Warning: In 12 years stay off the road.

Baby Shower Prepping

Erin threw me a great baby shower on Saturday. Before the shower Jiana and I had a day of beauty. She got her hair done and then we went to get our nails done. This is her first experience getting her nails and toes done professionally. She loved it. I'm sure we have a lot of pedicure days in our future.

Arizona

Last weekend we went to Arizona for a Padres Spring Training game. For Max's birthday on Monday we went to the Phoenix Zoo. On Tuesday, we watched the Padres play the Angels.

Kindergarten Registration

My baby is registered for Kindergarten. I can't believe it's that time already. Even though she is completely ready it's scary that she is old enough. She's my baby and always will be. I think she's excited about going to the same school where Mommy teaches. She already has her Juniper shirt. I showed her the playground the other day and she said that it was good. Of course to her that's all the matters.

It's a Boy!

We found out yesterday that we'll be having a boy. Everything looked good. My original due date is June 4, but we'll see if it gets changed next week. Measurements were about a week and a half early. Jiana was not happy yesterday (her mind was set on a sister). However, she has come around a little today, except that she is naming him Ariel and he can use her Princess bed. If I can figure out how to use the scanner I will post a picture.
